Before serving as mayor, she spent nine years on the Jackson City Council, where she worked to improve city services, support economic growth, and advocate for the needs of all residents. She also retired from the Clarke County School System, where her experience in education shaped her commitment to youth, families, and the future of the community.
As mayor, she is devoted to promoting transparency, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that every decision reflects the best interests of Jackson as a whole. Mayor Raybon believes that strong leadership means listening, engaging, and encouraging residents to take an active role in shaping the city’s future.
