Kedrick Bettis – District 1 Place 1

Mr. Bettis was born in Jackson, Alabama, and has lived in District 1 his entire life. In 2012, he earned an Associate of Science degree from Alabama Southern Community College. He later continued his education at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems

Mr. Bettis is currently employed as a sales supervisor with Coca-Cola Bottling Company United. He is a lifelong member of Carlton AOH Church of God, where he faithfully serves as a deacon.

Mr. Bettis has served as the City Councilman for District 1 since November 2020. While he proudly represents his district, he is deeply committed to the well-being and progress of the entire City of Jackson. He believes that strong leadership means listening, collaborating, and working toward solutions that benefit all neighborhoods and citizens.

He is eager to hear from residents and values open communication. With your help, he believes we can continue moving Jackson forward together.
